Earmold Styles
These earmold styles are available in all materials except Medical
Grade Silicone.
Skeleton
This mold is cosmetically designed by the concha area being
removed, but still leaving all retention and seal areas.
|
Non-Occluding, High Frequency Elegance
Much like the skeleton except the canal is reduced so that it is
not occluded. Recommended for high frequency loss as
these molds will help eliminate the frequencies below 1000 Hz. Note:
Canal length changes the frequency response. |
Semi-Skeleton
This mold is much like the skeleton design, with a portion of the
concha rim removed. This style is recommended when the shape of the
pinna makes insertion and removal difficult.
|
Hollowed Canal
Much like the canal mold, but recommended when a TMJ problem
exists.
|
Canal with Lock
This mold is much like the canal mold, but when more retention is
needed. By leaving a small portion of the concha rim this is
achieved. Recommended for any loss from mild to
severe.
