Through Tubes

Through tubes are preferred in vinyl, unless the mold has an intersecting vent. It is required in silicone, unless using tube locks.


Vinyl

Insert tube puller into canal tip and out back of mold. Put tapered end of tube into tube puller. Pull tube through canal until in place. Cut excess tube from end of canal. Glue with vinyl glue using a brush.


Silicone

Tube the same as vinyl, but do not use cement. Tube is held in place by the pressure between bore and tube.


Silicone Canal with Acrylic

A through tube should be used. Follow the directions for vinyl except use acrylic cement, unless there is an intersecting vent. In that case, dip end of tube into acrylic cement. Insert cut end of tube in back side of mold. Place tube in proper direction. Using an air blower, check tube for blockage before cement dries. 

Follow regular tubing directions making sure the horn is not crimped or collapsed.

 

Tubing with Horns

Acrylic

Follow regular tubing directions making sure the horn is not crimped or collapsed.

Vinyl

Follow regular tubing directions. To through tube a horn insert small end of horn into end of canal. Push through and pull into place. Cut off excess tube and glue.

Silicone

Follow regular tubing directions. Do not use glue.


Silicone Canal with Acrylic

Pull horn through end of canal, unless there is an intersecting vent. Glue with acrylic cement.


Bodysoft

Follow regular tubing directions and use acrylic glue.
